1. Rinse tofu and slice coarsely; rinse red chili peppers, remove stems and seeds, and then shred.
2. Heat a wok and then add 1 cup of vegetable oil; Heat it up over a high heat and then turn to a medium heat; Slowly slide in tofu and deep-fry until lightly brown and firm; Remove and pat dry.
3. Set the oil aside; Rinse the wok and heat it up again; Add seasoning (2) and bring to the boil over a high heat; Add tofu; Simmer over a low heat for 20 more minutes till done.
4. Turn off the heat; Garnish with shredded red chili peppers and drizzle with seasoning (1). Ready to serve.

Watch out when adding oil to a heated wok!
