INGREDIENTS :
400g(5/6lb.) taro, 150g(1/3lb.) sago, 9 cups of water.

SEASONINGS:
1cup of granulated sugar, 1 can of coconut milk.
 
PREPARATION :
1. Peel, rinse, and slice taro; Pour 1 cup of water and add sliced taro to a pot; Bring to the boil; Simmer over a low heat until soft; Remove and mash.
2. Rinse and drain sago.
3. Pour 5 cups of water to a pot and bring to the boil over a high heat; Add sago and cook over a low heat for 3 minutes; Turn off the heat and cover with a lid; Leave it until translucent (about 25 minutes); Remove and rinse in cold water; Drain.
3. Pour 3 cups of water to a pot and bring to the boil; Add seasoning and smashed taro; Bring to the boil again; Turn off the heat; Return the sago. Ready to serve.

COOKING TIPS:
1. When handling taro, it is better to wear gloves as taro has saponin which could cause itchy.
2. Taro and banana should not be taken at the same time.
3. This dessert can be served either hot or cold.
